Samsung presented world's first smartphone with four main cameras designed for shooting in any conditions. The event was held in Malaysia, and the presented novelty was called Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018).
Samsung smartphones have all the new technologies: a frameless screen, NFC and an 8-core processor. During the announcement, Dong Jin Co., director of the mobile division of Samsung Electronic, made the following statement: “Samsung and I are well aware of how important the modern trends in the world of mobile photography are for modern consumers. Using rich experience in the production of smartphones, we are trying to implement any innovations for all models of the Galaxy series, making them affordable for every client. In this regard, the new Galaxy A9 has received leading technologies in the field of mobile cameras and has become one of the most talked about. ”
The device is presented in an ergonomic case with a curved back panel made on the basis of high-strength 3D glass. Three color versions of the smartphone will go on sale:
- The black.
- Pink.
- Blue.
The entire front panel of the novelty is occupied by the advanced Super AMOLED-screen with a diagonal of 6.3 inches and a ratio of 18.5: 9. At the back is a fingerprint sensor that provides complete protection for user data.
The presence of four cameras provides for the solution of any user tasks for mobile shooting in any situations and lighting conditions:
- As the main sensor, a 24-megapixel camera is used, capable of taking high-quality pictures in the daytime and in low light.
- The second sensor has a double optical zoom and is suitable for shooting from long distances.
- The third camera received a wide-angle module, capturing large objects and landscapes. The sensor interacts with artificial intelligence and automatically selects the appropriate shooting mode based on the scene in the image.
- The fourth sensor is portrait. It supports manual depth of field to change the blur of the background.
As a processor, the new Samsung Galaxy A9 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with an 8-core architecture and a frequency of 2.2 GHz. The amount of RAM - 6 GB, built-in - 128 gigabytes with expandable removable microSD drives up to 512 GB. The front camera module received a 24-megapixel resolution and f / 2.0 aperture.
For a long battery life, a 3800 milliampere-hour battery is responsible. An interesting feature of the new product is the support of the NFC contactless payment function, which works even with terminals without this parameter.
It will be possible to buy a new flagship in the official stores of the brand and from partners from November 16 of this year. The initial price will be 39,990 rubles.
