Error code F37 in the washing machine Bosch

If your machine unexpectedly interrupted the wash, and the code F37 appeared on the display, it means that at the moment the water does not heat up to the temperature set in the program. The reason is often obvious - the temperature sensor (NTC) jams.

NTC monitors the level of water heating, and when the temperature is sufficient, it sends a signal to the control board, which in turn turns off the heater. If the sensor is broken, then the water does not heat up at all, so most programs stop working until it is logically completed. But even if the mistake is unpleasant, do not rush to start the repair. First you need to eliminate the likelihood of a malfunction in the electronics, which can also provoke this behavior.

Where to start?

Unplug the machine for a quarter of an hour. This will restart the control module. In some cases, after a reboot, the code disappears, and you can continue washing.

If the story repeats after being turned on again, it seems like repair is needed. We recommend that you contact the master to diagnose the problem part.

What needs to be repaired?

The F37 code can cause a breakdown in a number of parts:

  • A temperature sensor is the most obvious answer. Its replacement will help return the washing machine to operation;
  • The wiring between the sensor and the control board is another potentially weak link;
  • The control module may also fail. Its failure will provoke a number of errors, and F37 is one of them.
