F16 malfunction in Ariston devices with vertical loading of laundry items indicates that there is no notification from the drum auto-positioning controller (the drum should always stop only with the flaps up, it must be additionally rotated in order to open). In some cases, such a breakdown can be eliminated without professional help and equipment.
It should be noted! Such a F16 fault can be in devices in which the manufacturer provides only vertical loading. Front-loading units do not have such a breakdown.
Malfunction F16, how to fix it without professional intervention
- The latch of the locking connection of the loading drum is not closed. When starting the wash, the drum of the device must be correctly closed. If you did not hear a certain sound click, then the control sensor for locking the hatch does not work. Without proper closing, the machine will not start the installed program. Auto stop is triggered.
- Banal software crash. To fix the problem, disconnect the device from the power supply. Leave on for plus or minus 10 minutes. Then reconnect the machine to the network. After a forced reboot, it should work safely.
- Lack of contact in the contact circuit. Check the correct connection of the loops in the contact circuit from the electronic module (automation) to the controller of the lock connection. During transportation or incorrect installation (horizontal is not maintained, check it using the building level), the connection between the contacts in the serial circuit is broken.
